BCC or as some people call it a Rodent Ulcer is the commonest skin cancer in humans. Although it is a malignant tumour but it’s not life threatening as it does not spread. Squamous cell carcinoma starts as a small lump and can grow quite rapidly. If lesion is treated quickly, then the prognosis is usually very good. Best treatment option is excision biopsy under local anaesthesia. If fully removed with good margin, then in most cases it doesn’t cause any further problems.
